Who IS INACEP?

The INACEP Board of Directors represents a very diverse group of practicing emergency physicians - academicians, private practice physicians, large groups, small groups, individual physicians, hospital-based groups, board certified, non-board certified, rural, urban, residents, medical students, democrats, republicans and independents.

Despite their varied backgrounds, our board works together for the common goal of furthering the specialty of emergency medicine in Indiana. INACEP represents YOU!

INACEP Mission

Our mission is to support the highest quality of emergency medical care, to promote continuing education for our emergency physicians, to serve as advocates for our members and our specialty, and to be a safety net for Indiana's patients.

INACEP Committees

    One of the important values of INACEP membership is having your rights and interests represented at the State Capital. As a strong, unified, organization, and with the resources of a professional lobbyist, we have taken many steps to empower emergency physicians and protect our patients.

    Our lobbyist monitors hundreds of bills introduced each year, and introduces some of our own.

    Our Bigger Picture

    INACEP has nearly 500 members, a staffed office and an e-mail address. The board and staff are very accessible and have worked hard to form relationships throughout the State, resulting in open communication, increased visibility, and inclusion in agencies, task forces, organizations, councils and commissions at every level within the state.
